Day 1,Nairobi- Amboseli

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National park at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Lunch at a lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at kibo safari camp or similar

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, (regarded as the roof top of Africa) the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game.

Day 2 Amboseli –Lake Nakuru National park
We depart Soon after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru national park. Lunches enroute followed by an afternoon game drives at the park famed for numerous species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru guest house or similar.

Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake on the edges of Nakuru town. The lake is world famous as home to millions of flamingoes. The number of flamingoes depends on the water level which determines the quantity of algae on which the birds feed. Flamingoes are known to migrate to other Rift Valley lakes whenever the water level is low. The National Park surrounds the lake and was gazetted to protect the colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for endangered species such as the rhino. There are about 25 white and black rhinos, one of the largest concentrations in the country. Predators are also residents to this park while Rothschild’s giraffe have been trans-located into the park for safety

Day 3 Lake Nakuru Maasai Mara

Depart soon after breakfast and drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Lunch at a Olmoran tented camp or similar before proceeding for evening gamedrives. Dinner and overnight stay at Olmoran tented camp

Day4/5 Maasai Mara
Full days spent exploring the park world’s most popular park in search of the big 5.Morning and afternoon game drives are offered and optional visit to Maasai villages can be arranged with your safari guide. Dinner and overnight stay at Olmoran tented camp.

The Mara reserve is 1510 sq km of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland and one glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common.

Day 6 Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Morning game drive then return to the campsite for breakfast .drive to Nairobi where the safari ends.
