Kenya birding safari holidays offers a birder a trip of a life time. Kenya has an extremely rich biodiversity that has vast number of species that live in many different ecosystems that span from the warm tropical reefs down at the coast with notable hotspots being the Mida creek, Arabuko sokoke  Bamburi nature trail, Nguuni nature sanctuary, to cold alpine moorlands of Mount Kenya and Aberdare ranges, and from arid deserts and semi deserts like Samburu, Shaba and buffalo springs national reserves and moist rain forests like the Kakamega Forest. The Rift valley lakes like Lake Nakuru which is a bird watchers paradise, Lake Baringo, lake Bogoria, Lake Jipe, Lake Turkana and not forgetting the fresh waters of Lake Naivasha.

It has over 1100 species seven of them being endemic to Kenya which are:- Jackson’s Francolin, William’s Lark, Aberdare cisticola, Hindes Babbler, Taita thrush, Clarkes weaver  and Sharpe’s longclaw
